Oportunidades NOLA (OpNOLA): Upcoming Events

Hi Latino Forum and Language Access Coalition members,

We wanted to reach out and inform you of two important events at OportunidadesNOLA at the LFCL. We have attached flyers and more information below. Please feel free to share these events, the corresponding flyers, and Facebook Event Page links to any blogs and event pages and/or with friends and colleagues.

1) On Friday, April 11, 2014, OportunidadesNOLA (OpNOLA) will host an Open House from 6-8pm at our office location, 215 N. Jefferson Davis Parkway, New Orleans, LA 70119. Come by and meet our new Board of Directors, the OpNOLA staff and volunteers, and learn more about our program offerings. We will provide refreshments and snacks! Bring a friend! This event is free and open to the public. We hope to see you at our office on Friday! Thanks.

2) On Monday, April 14, 2014 from 6:30-9:30pm, OportunidadesNOLA (OpNOLA) and Casa Borrega will host Clifton Ross, editor of the new book Until the Rulers Obey, for a book talk and signing at Casa Borrega restaurant, 1719 Oretha Castle Haley Blvd, New Orleans LA 70113. There is a $10 suggested donation at the door – money to benefit OpNOLA and Clifton Ross. Casa Borrega will serve tapas and drinks. Come support our programs, Clifton Ross’ new book, and Casa Borrega! Thanks.
