Good Morning Crescent Region Collaborative Coalition Members and Community Partners:
The CRC Coalition will meet on Wednesday, January 22, 2014 in Jefferson Parish. The meeting will be held at the Jefferson Parish Health Unit (Marrero), located at 1855 Ames Blvd. Marrero, Louisiana 70072, form 11:30am to 1:35pm.
Dr. Takeisha Charles Davis, will also discuss new information on the Affordable Care Act form Health Care Law and You and how it will impact citizens of Louisiana and services being provided in our communities, where we are today. Dr. Davis will also inform us of the new and upcoming programs at the State of Louisiana Health Office.
Dr. Maureen Y. Lichtveld, will discuss Center for Gulf Coast Environmental Health Research, Leadership and Strategic Initiatives, the research and programs that are currently being implement in the Gulf Coast Regions.
The transformation of the State of Louisiana’s Medicaid Programs, and Health Care System, which have impact approximately 1.2 million people in LA who are Medicaid recipients or eligible for the ACA’s Market Place . As I mentioned previously, the coalition will host this event for all CRC members and community partners. We will convene where we left off in December at the last Crescent Region Collaborative coalition meeting. Moving forward with in the enrollment process.
The CRC Coalition will implement the Problem – Solving Community Time. I have attached the CRC Coalition January Agenda.
Everyone’s participation is needed. (Please bring information regarding your Agency, and any upcoming event to present to the community.)
