Lauren Godshall

Congratulations to our new Secretary, Lauren Godshall! Lauren is the mother of two beautiful girls, Lucia and Zoila. She and her family have been Laurenwith the DSAGNO since the birth of her daughter, Lucia, in November of  2011. Lauren is currently an attorney with Curry and Friends specializing in Environmental law.
Her skills and expertise makes her an asset to the Down Syndrome Association of Greater New Orleans.
On behalf of the board of directors, we welcome you to our organization!!!

Thank you to everyone who applied for the Secretary’s position!  It was a very tough decision for our Nominating Committee, everyone was well qualified.

DSAGNO Buddy Walk® 2013

Save the date! Saturday October 26, 2013 will be our 11th annual Buddy Walk®. We are very excited to introduce our new fundraising program through Kintera.  Through this program you will be able to create your own individual page along with a team page.  You can recruit members to your team, sign up volunteers, and promote your page through social media!

Volunteering for Stipends

My family and I want to say what a wonderful experience it was attending the NDSC Annual Convention in Denver.  This convention offered the best of everything for us.  It offered fantastic educational opportunities associated with the seminars that Kate and I attended.
